ROTORUA KAYAKING
We are a Kayaking company based In Okere Falls on the banks of the beautiful Lake Rotoiti, just north of Rotorua, in the North Island of New Zealand.
Our mission is to show you around our beautiful back yard, explore the lake or river with us.
We offer guided kayak tours and kayak rental service for kayaking on the lake.
Kayaking is an amazing sport that can take you places that not many get to see, so come along and enjoy the fun and amazing places with us.

Evening Glow Worm Kayak Tour – Lake Rotoiti (3 Hours)
Experience the magic of Lake Rotoiti after sunset on this unforgettable 3-hour guided kayaking adventure.
As daylight fades, paddle peacefully along the sheltered shores of Lake Rotoiti in stable sea kayaks, taking in stunning reflections of the surrounding forested hills and evening sky. Your guide will lead you to hidden glow worm caves, where thousands of tiny lights sparkle overhead like a natural galaxy — a truly breathtaking New Zealand experience.
This relaxed, small-group tour is perfect for beginners and nature lovers alike. Along the way, learn about the local area, Māori history, and the unique glow worms that call these caves home. With calm waters, quality equipment, and experienced guides, you can simply enjoy the journey and soak up the atmosphere.

This tour stays within 200 meters of the shore
What to bring: Just bring your swimwear, footwear, sun hat, snacks and drinking water.
We provide: Guide, sea kayaks, lifejackets (to be worn at all times), splash jackets, paddles, small dry bag for personal belongings. LIGHTS, GLOW STICK

SELF GUIDED
KAYAK RENTAL
Rent sit on top kayaks for 2 hours of unguided freedom kayaking down the scenic Ohau Channel, that flows from Lake Rotorua into Lake Rotoiti.
Enjoy the tranquility and birdlife of the gentle waters at your own pace.
Meet us at our base we will get you all signed in, we are located directly across the road from the lake where you will finish your kayaking trip. We will drop you off up the lake and you can paddle at your own pace back to where we meet you.
We provide all the gear and a shuttle between the Channel and our base.
We have single and double kayaks.
You will get a little wet, but that's awesome!!
What to bring: Swimwear, footwear for the water, snacks & drinking water. A cell phone that works in New Zealand.
We meet you at our base in Okere Falls.
We provide all the gear and a shuttle between our base and the Ohau channel. You then paddle back to where your car is parked at our base in Okere Falls.
A great trip for families with children, We have single and double kayaks.
We provide: Inflatable kayaks, paddles, PFD, splash jackets, dry bag for cell phone.
Trip times are 9 am 12 noon 3pm.
But if you cant make these time give us a call and we can fit you in!
